Clubs and Activities

St. Louis students are encouraged to do their best academically and also to balance their day with events and extracurricular activities that help them to grow and learn beyond the classroom. Our clubs and activities present many opportunities for students to have diverse experiences, make new friends, and have fun!

Student Activities

Band

The school band has a long tradition at St. Louis School. Students in grades 4 through 8 may enroll in the Instrumental Music Program. The program includes beginner, concert (intermediary), and an advanced symphonic band program.

Beginner band students have lessons during school hours once a week. Concert and symphonic band students have lessons during school hours once a week, and also include full band practice after school once a week.

Concerts are performed throughout the school year.

Empowered Leadership

Students have the opportunity to assume a leadership position through the Student Council. This opportunity is for students in grades 5 - 8 through homeroom representation, at-large grade representation, and executive leadership that includes a president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer.

As leaders of the student body, the student council plans and implements a variety of service and fundraising events for the school community. The members also communicate information to students in PreK through 4th grade and have numerous public speaking opportunities throughout the academic year.

Club activities are offered twice a year during the fall and winter trimesters. We offer a variety of clubs that tailor to diverse student interests. Students and teachers are welcome to develop and introduce new clubs as well. More details are provided during the signup season.
