If the great outdoors is for you, Maryland is an ideal location. Both beautiful beaches and breathtaking mountains are within driving distance. Maryland is neither North or South, making the climate relatively moderate compared to many regions of the country.

For sports lovers, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. have several teams in NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, and professional soccer. Plus, there are several college teams to root for, as well!

For continuing education opportunities, there are nearly 20 colleges and universities that offer a wealth of teaching and educational programs. 

And, for travel fans, we are driving distance from Philadelphia, New York City, Pittsburgh, Outer Banks, N.C., and Charleston, W.V., to name a few popular destinations. International travel is easy due to three airports in the region.
