Volunteering

We are thrilled to have the enthusiastic assistance of our many parent volunteers throughout the year.  This vital support, needed during the school day, in the evening, and at our many community events, is the foundation of our success.

There are many ways throughout the school year to volunteer and fulfill each family’s volunteer responsibility. The path to volunteering can be completed in two easy steps:

  1. Complete your VIRTUS training.  If you have previously completed the training, your certificate is valid for 5 years from the date of completion.  You will then be required to complete another VIRTUS training course and receive a new certification.

  2. Register on Helper Helper. SLS exclusively uses a program called "Helper Helper" to post volunteer opportunities and track family hours. Once your students enroll in SLS, a school administrator will send you an email with login information. You can access Helper Helper via app on your phone or through a browser on your computer

For more information on VIRTUS or Helper Helper, contact Mrs. Bridget Lebair at blebair@stlouisparish.org.
