Alumni Testimonials

Hear what graduates have to say about St. Louis School.

"St. Louis School taught me how to write at a high-school level when I was still in the 7th grade. Even when writing videos today, I apply a lot of the same techniques I learned back then."

St. Louis School will always have a special place in my heart. So many of the classmates I first met in kindergarten remain my close friends to this day, more than 20 years later. We’re now celebrating each other’s weddings and first babies!

Thinking back to my late elementary and middle school years, I recall being taught extensively about how to use technology for schoolwork and using programs like Microsoft Word and Excel. It wasn't until my high school and college years that I realized how beneficial all of that training was, as I felt years ahead of some of my peers in those important programs. The emphasis that St. Louis placed on learning that technology truly helped me excel as a student for years to come.

St. Louis School provided a tremendous educational base before high school and left me with lifelong friendships I could never replace!

I received an excellent education from St. Louis School, and outstanding spiritual development. We learned a lot from the Sisters of Divine Providence. They taught us how to be kind, compassionate, and how to treat people. I loved St. Louis School so much that I decided to come back and serve. Now I’m a full-time volunteer. Every time I walk through the doors, it feels like I’m coming home.

Thinking back on St. Louis has me recalling the best years of my life, whether it was sporting and scouting events with all my classmates or memorable teachers who worked outstandingly well with us unruly kids. I fondly remember the warm and loving atmosphere, professional and approachable academics, countless after school activities, awe inspiring church services, and so much more. St. Louis will always be a touchstone for my youth, faith, and sense of community.

“As the school board president and proud St. Louis School alumni, I’m honored to give back to the school that has given so much to me. I’m forever grateful for the countless lessons learned from so many passionate teachers and the friendships formed here are lifelong. St. Louis School has set the bar for Catholic schools for the past 100 years and I know it will continue to be a model of excellence for the next 100.” President of St. Louis School Board
