Curriculum
St. Louis School provides a rigorous high-school preparatory program that engages the whole child, promoting learning and growth to one's greatest personal potential.
From learning to read to public speaking, counting to advanced mathematics, our students receive a Catholic education that inspires a love of learning. This experience leads to self-esteem, responsibility, and accountability.
St. Louis School follows the Archdiocese of Baltimore Course of Study which meets or exceeds the requirements of the Maryland State Department of Education. The in-depth curriculum includes religion, language arts and reading, math, science, social studies, art, library, technology, music, physical education, and Spanish. In additional, St. Louis incorporates a comprehensive STEM program in all grade levels. Teachers construct lessons that reflect their commitment to supporting multiple learning styles, differentiated assessments, critical thinking skills, problem solving, creativity, communication, and collaboration. Our goal is to form self confident, independent thinkers prepared to continue their educational journey and successfully meet the challenges of the 21st century world.
