Welcome to St. Louis School

Founded in 1923, St. Louis School is a coeducational Catholic school providing a high-school preparatory education to approximately 560 students in prekindergarten through 8th grade. We are a community grounded in Catholic teachings, family values, and academic excellence.

Nestled on a beautiful campus between Baltimore and Washington, D.C., St. Louis School is a thriving, close-knit community that nurtures the faithful spirit, creativity, intellect, and leadership within every child.

As a two-time National Blue Ribbon school, our academic philosophy is teaching the whole child in body, mind, and spirit from prekindergarden through 8th grade.

St. Louis School is a 2019 Cognia STEM-certified school, integrating lessons on communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity with a focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

St. Louis School offers an accelerated curriculum and advanced reading and math beginning in the elementary grades. Enrichment and academic support are integral to the curriculum.
